I liked the intro of the podcast and the episode. It lets me know exactly what I'm getting into. You dove right into the scripture. This makes sense. The show is listed in the Christianity category. If you're trying to lure non-believers into your show, you might lead with insights, facts, and then back it up with the bible. When you come right out of the gate quoting scripture there is a segment of the audience that will tune out. This is not an issue, you just need to decide who the audience is.The story of the birth of your son was hard to listen to. It creates an immediate form of intimacy between you and the listeners. You are exposing so much, and we just met. I appreciate the courage it takes to share such a deep wound. You did a great job of just diving right into the story and told it in a way that had me wondering what was happening, and what was going to happen next. This is a great strategy out of my favorite storytelling book Storyworthy from Matthew Dicks. You can get it for free on Audible.
It definitely grabbed my attention and kept me tuned in.
